Staggered-Gap Film Applicator acc. to Krause Model 421

Description

The Model 421/II can be used to create up to six parallel film strips with graduated layer thickness in one application. Thus, the film applicator is particularly well suited for inspecting the thickness properties of coating materials, such as covering capacity, adhesion, colour strength, effect formation, curing behaviour, and paint defects. When using the Model 421 together with the COATMASTER 509 MC-III, the curing behaviour as a function of the layer thickness can also be measured immediately after the application. Furthermore, the film applicator 421 allows you to easily determine the relationship between the application parameters (gap height, applicator speed) and the result of the film application (wet and dry film thickness).
