Description

Cardboard boxes, plastic films, leather, textiles, and other flexible coating substrates often have uneven surfaces or wrinkles. Thus, coating with a doctor blade may result in uneven film thickness. The solution to this problem is using a spiral as a pulling device. Here, the pad is depressed by the spiral turns as it is pulled which has an offsetting effect. At the same time the paint is specifically applied by the spaces between the spiral. The theoretical layer thickness is calculated from these inter-spaces of the spiral. The work is made easier using the handle with grip. This device is corrosion resistant.
