Through-dry Tester Model 416

This tester is used to test the through-drying of paints, lacquers and similar coatings. For a limited period of time, a weighted and nylon mesh-covered test stamp is placed on the surface to be tested and then rotated 90 degrees. The damage to the sample caused by the nylon mesh is then assessed. This testing device consists of a sample table with a stand on which a load weight is guided vertically. A test head is connected via a ball joint with the load weight (with total weight of 1500 g). A rubber plate (hardness 50 IRHD according to ISO 48) is glued to the front of the test head.
