TABER Abrasion
The Original TABER® ABRASER 352 can be used to perform abrasion tests on paintwork and other coatings, such as rubber, paper, leather, ceramics, textile fabrics and metals. This device is used in research and development as well as in production and quality control. Resistance to abrasion is one of the most important mechanical properties of surfaces. Among the methods used to test abrasion resistance, working with the TABER® ABRASER is the most common and widely used method. Numerous national and international standards make explicit reference to this test instrument.
The TABER® LINEAR ABRASER 364 is a tester that can measure the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance for products of all shapes and sizes, regardless of whether they have a flat, concave or convex surface. The floating head of the new linear abraser ensures that this tester can follow the contours of each sample, so that it is easy to make tests on finished products.
