PAINTXPLORER 548

The PAINTXPLORER 548 has been developed to broaden the range of applications of the PAINT BORER 518 MC/518 USB, which specifically targets sensitive bore holes, especially in rigid or brittle materials. Even with relatively minimal eccentric or uneven running of the drill being used, such materials can be prone to breakouts of the cut edges or flaking. This can then lead to less definable transitions between the layers to be measured in the subsequent optical measurement with the microscope. The PAINTXPLORER 548 is designed as a comfortable tabletop unit. It comes with an improved, high precision rotating/sliding axle bearing device to minimize this limitation.
